DESCRIPTION OF DRUM DEFROSTING:
Metalteco, in a project that consisted of different phases, developed the Colanta Feed Mill as well as the subsequent extension of the same.
This concentrates plant, located in the municipality of Itagüí, has an innovative emissions control system that ensures that the amount of particulate matter released into the environment is below the limits established by the government. This system, called Cyclone Filter, is available for installation in any type of industry.

Characteristics of the feed mill:
- Total capacity: 15,000 tons/month.
- 2 pelletizing lines.
- 1 extrusion line.
- 12 storage silos - 9,000 tons in total.
- Soybean cake handling in bottom silo with automatic hydraulic unloader.
