DESCRIPTION SILO SWEEPER:
The METALTECO Silo Sweeper is designed to discharge residual material or slope from a flat bottom silo. It is used in products of easy flowability such as corn, soybeans, wheat, barley and grains.
This equipment is in charge of emptying the silo once the gravity discharge operations are finished. It is important to link the operation of this equipment to the plant automation system installed by METALTECO and controlled by our METALSOFT software.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS SILO SWEEPER:
- Conveyor or helical spiral that transports the material from the perimeter of the silo to the central discharge of the silo.
- Rotational feed system that guarantees the sweeping of all the material in the silo.
THIS SYSTEM IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE INDUSTRIAL SAFETY OF THE UNLOADING PROCESSES, SINCE THIS WORK IS CARRIED OUT WITHOUT THE OPERATOR ENTERING THE SILO.
